TRAINING LOCATION

Montpelier Primary School Gym, entrance off Mount Pleasant Road Highton.

Club training sessions are based on fun and enjoyment with an emphasis on learning basic basketball fundamentals for the love of the game and a team-oriented approach is encouraged among all participants. Organised team training sessions usually include structured coaching and practice for skill development, fitness and overall improvement of the individual and the team.

South Geelong Kings Club Team training times are available for coaches to conduct practice sessions at Montpellier Primary School gym. At least one adult parent is required to remain with an adult coach for all junior training sessions as per working with children regulations.

Coaches/managers using the gym MUST ensure all lights are turned off, the alarm is reactivated and all doors are locked and the gym facilities are all left in a neat and tidy order before leaving.

ALL BOOKINGS MUST BE COORDINATED THROUGH THE CLUB PRESIDENT

Mobile 0419 322 766 or by email southgeelongkings@hotmail.com

KEYS

The Montpellier gymnasium keys & bucket containing 1st Aid must be handed to the next available team's manager/coach so it can be returned after training to the designated address. As you leave the gym must be locked, the alarm turned on and court checked for tidiness (balls and equipment returned and court left in clean tidy condition), lights turned off and keys returned to the nominated destination.
